If all goes well, we'll get a tour of this place via a tiny car thanks to the brother of a friend of Mom's. Apparently, said island is tiny but beautiful and for the most part, pedestrian traffic. That's interesting. I haven't really looked at the itinerary that closely in all honesty. Looking at it now, the accessbility level may prove to be a bit of a challenge. Hmmm...I see blackmailing photos in my not too distant future. "And this is where we tried to get Cindy on that boat...oh yeah, she's fine now." Yikes.
Good news about the ecoli outbreak. The ship has a notice that they clean all of their fruits and veggies. Good to know! In all seriousness, I feel bad for the cucumber farmers who threw out their whole crop, only to discover that the culprit was in all likelihood, bean sprouts. You'd think in this day and age, mistakes like that could be avoided. Fear and panic ruled the day, a tough blow for both the European communities and the economy.
I'm still bringing my purell. Cooking food for over 3000 people? Germ city. Hand sanitizer rocks!
